The WorldSkills UK West Midlands regional heat returns to the NEC, as Beauty UK hosts a number of sector related competitions, sponsored and organised by VTCT. 

Competition heats will include Beauty Face & Hands, Beauty Body and Fashion & Photographic Make-up.

Watch as student competitors from regional colleges present their work to be named regional winner and be put forward to the national finals. 

WorldSkills UK Competitions bring together apprentices and young people from across the country to compete to be the best in their chosen skill. They inspire future generations to be ambitious in their pursuit for excellence, while equipping them with life-long, world class skills. These talented individuals will be key in helping UK business compete on a global stage and raise standards to an international level.

Every year, Birmingham welcomes thousands of beauty professionals to Beauty UK, held at the NEC in May - in fact, Beauty UK is the largest beauty trade show outside of London. With four shows under one roof, visitors not only have the opportunity to see the latest Spring / Summer launches in beauty, nails, tanning, hair and complementary therapies, but also enjoy free educational experiences including the ABT Seminar Programme, Hair UK Style Stage and the Holistic Health Demo Stage.

Event Admission Policy:

Entrance to Beauty UK is strictly trade only. Free entry is available to visitors who register before the show, and who bring their free tickets with them. Entrance on the day is priced at £20 per person / £10 per student. There is a strict policy that babies and children under the age of 16 years will be refused admission - no prams or pushchairs are allowed.
